It is two decades until the new millennium and a UFO has been spotted in the skies above England. When Doctor Ellen Marley arrives to work in Addenbrookes Hospital the next morning, she finds a stranger waiting for her. The man has brought Marley an ultimatum - she may either accept his offer and step into an unknown future, or she walk away into her old life and forever wonder about what could have been.
